Plot Summary
“A quiet and mysterious inn run by its mysterious owner, Melati, attracts unsuspecting travelers. "Here they have to face their worst nightmares, never to be seen again." On the outskirts of Java, Indonesia, travelers from near and far visit a strange and mysterious inn, a family looking for a place to stay after their grandmother's funeral, and a young couple looking for a place to stay together. However, things are not the same as in a guesthouse, as the owner, Madame Meas Lati, seems to have her own design ideas for the soul that enters the inn, who is cursed and never leaves. Melati's evil plan was soon thwarted when a local taxi driver attempted to rob a nightclub on the ugly house. The driver suddenly realized that they had made a serious mistake and had unleashed a great deal of mischief from the depths of the inadvertently destroyed inn.
